AC Transit Automates Twitter Cancelation Alerts

Great news! In our continued effort to enhance the AC Transit rider experience, service cancelation alerts became automated on Twitter December 12.

AC Transit’s service alerts account, @RideACTAlerts, was launched on Twitter in March so riders could have immediate and direct service disruption information. Now we’re improving our service disruption accuracy through automated cancellation alerts. Live staff will continue communicate service and District information on our social media channels, 6 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our primary Twitter account, @RideACT, is the best way to stay current on all things AC Transit.

ACT RealTime and the AC Transit Official App continue to be the most accurate channels for real-time service updates.
