Public Hearing on Proposed Continuation of Pilot Lines 60 & 78

Public Hearing on Proposed Continuation of Pilot Lines 60 & 78

March 08,2022

AC Transit is conducting a Public Hearing regarding Pilot Lines 60 & 78 and we’d like to get your thoughts.  Our riders were introduced to these pilot services last year, to help bring about benefits to the entire community such as greater accessibility and boosted commerce.  As the economy recovers, more time to evaluate the pilots is currently under consideration.

YOUR INPUT IS INVITED

We are proposing continuation of the current pilot lines 60 & 78 which respectively provide service from Chabot College to the South Hayward BART Station, and from Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland to the Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal in Alameda. For more details, you can refer to the existing schedules and maps for Line 60 and Line 78.

AC Transit riders and community members are encouraged to provide input on the proposed plan, as we will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.  It is anticipated that the AC Transit Board of Directors will render a decision as early as April 27, 2022.

HOW TO COMMENT

Public input can be received in advance or live at the hearing. Written comments must be received no later than the close of the hearing on March 30, 2022.  Please provide comments as follows:
