AC Transit Service Changes Effective June 13

Highlights of changes:

  • In Fremont and Newark, Line 200 will have increased service, and Line 215 will be reinstated.
  • Bus lines and trips designed to serve schools are suspended for the summer.
  • Line NX will operate in both directions, to and from San Francisco, in place of lines NX1 and NX2.

Service changes effective Sunday, June 13, 2021:

21Service begins approximately one hour earlier each morning. Other minor schedule changes.
39Trips that operate school days only are suspended for the summer.
200A new schedule provides bus service every twenty minutes, every day, from 6:30 a.m. to midnight (except Saturdays, when service begins at 7:00 am). Line 200 service to the Silliman Community Activity Center discontinued (use line 216 or 251).
215Line 215, serving areas in Fremont such as Gallaudet Drive, Osgood Road, and industrial areas of South Fremont, is reinstated. Service will operate toward Kato Road & Benicia Street from 6:15 am to 8:15 pm, and toward Fremont BART from 7:15 am to 9:15 pm
600–699Lines that operate school days only are suspended for the summer.
NXLine NX will operate in both directions. Two trips will travel from MacArthur Blvd. & 56th Avenue to San Francisco on weekday mornings, and two trips will travel from San Francisco to MacArthur Blvd. & Millsbrae Avenue.
NX1, NX2These lines are temporarily discontinued. Line NX will cover areas previously served by lines NX1 and NX2 until demand increases and the need for separate NX1 and NX2 returns.
Other Minor schedule changes are made on lines 20, 33, 34, 35, 57, and 851.

“Minor schedule changes” are those that move the times of bus trips earlier or later by a few minutes.

New schedules and line maps are available at actransit.org. All lines have printable timetables available online, and pocket timetables are available onboard buses for local bus lines and Transbay bus lines F, NL, O, and 800.
